Marriage and financial resriction

Is it that ladies have forgotten that men are moved by the sight of sensitive parts of their body or they are just bent on leading men astray? Imagine the level of exposure this lady took to her church wedding. Is she trying to show the whole church that she has big "oranges" or there are other strange motives?

In fact, I don't think any real pastor should even allow this craze in his church...

Dear ladies, please do not extend this "madness" to churches. They are places that should be free of rubbish!

Lagos State Governor's Desk

What I expect of my successor by Gov.Fashola
Governor Babatunde Fashola, has said he is interested in who succeeds him next year, towards advancing the cause of the state.
When asked on who he prefers to succeed him, Fashola said: “I prefer a successor that would surpass my achievements in office and advance the cause of Lagos State.”
The governor who said this during an interactive session with State House Correspondents, at the State House Marina, stressed that he was concerned about who would be the next governor of the state.
Fashola, also added a caveat that he was not praying to be the best governor the state would ever produce but expected his successor to carry on the transformation agenda without further delay.
He said:  “In terms of policy sustainability, we are fortunate that over the years, the government of Lagos state is becoming more institutionalized therefore it is becoming easier for every successor to improve on what his predecessor has done.
“I am not worried about the person who will succeed me, but I am concerned because I will be involved. I really hope that the person who will take over after me will be a lot better than me.
“I hope that the person can do in four years what it has taken us eight years to do. That I know will be beneficial to all of us. My interest in the next election is Lagos. Who will be the best to guide and advance the course and interest of Lagos.”
Harping on steps his government had taken in the area of transportation in the state, he said  the government is currently proffering solutions  in different areas , saying there was nowhere in the world where regional government had embarked on such massive transportation works his government had embarked on.
Fashola said: “I don’t know any state in the world that is building roads like the 60kilometre Lagos- Badagry expressway;  50kilometre  Lekki-Epe expressway; 20 kilometre Mile12-Ikorodu road; a light rail train of 27 kilometres; four major jetties and terminals and also partnering to install a cable car system – all at the same time.
“Only national governments do what we are doing. That is what is emboldening us to build more homes in Ikorodu, more homes in Agbowa, in Epe and Badagry because we know that by the time they are completed, any journey from there to the city center will be a maximum of 45 minutes to one hour.”

News and Report from Northern Nigeria

After Boarding School Massacre Nigerian Senate Orders Army To North East

With 59 school children dead in Yobe State, the Senate Defence Committee ordered the Nigerian Army to the North East today to provide protection.

On Wednesday, 59 school children at a boarding school in Yobe state were burned or shot when the Islamist group, Boko Haram set the school on fire.

Boko Haram means "Western education is sinful," in the Hausa language.

President Goodluck Jonathan called the attack "callous and senseless murder…"

The Senate Defence Committee, chaired by Senator George Thompson Sekibo suspended budget hearings to pass a resolution which ordered the Nigerian Army to the North East.

Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Kenneth Minimah was ordered to provide security for all schools and health institutions in the Boko Haram affected areas to include Maiduguri and Yobe.

General Minimah thanked the Committee for its concern and said, "...it will be the last of such from the insurgents."

The resolution, introduction by Senator Ojudu from Ekiti Central, was critical of the military's failure to pick up intelligence before the attack and its slowness to respond to the attack for five hours.

Ojudu said, "The North East calls for special attention and we should not be seating down here in Abuja discussing budget while our young ones are being slaughtered in cold blood."

The motion by Senator Ojudu, was seconded by Senator Jubrilla Bindo, Vice Chairman of the Committee.

The resolution condemned the atrocities caused by Boko Haram and the Committee regrets the killing of school children in Yoba.

It ordered the army to develop a strategy to curb to the attacks of Boko Haram using all military resources, and relocate to Maiduguri temporarily.

All schools and health institutions to be provided with special security.

And the Committee of Defense invited the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to provide the Armed Forces with what it needs.

The Committee of Defence will tour the three affected states when the Senate resumes it plenary.

The budget hearing was suspended until a future date.
